The KSRY(D)14G strainer is an indispensable device in the pipeline system. The flange hole size is according to DIN2527. It is usually installed at the inlet end of the equipment to filter particulate impurities in the medium and protect the valves or other equipment. kmo's products have the characteristics of advanced structure, low resistance, and convenient drainage. The connection methods are flange type and screw type. The applicable medium of the product is water, oil, gas and corrosive medium. (oxygen is separate) The filter can be made according to user requirements. The internal parts are made of stainless steel, which is durable. The mesh of the filter can be set according to customer needs. Generally speaking, the mesh of water strainer is 18~30 meshes. The mesh of the gas strainer is 40~700 meshes, and the mesh of the oil strainer is 100~480 meshes.
Product Selection Principles
Entry and exit path: in principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the strainer should be same as the inlet pipe diameter.
Nominal pressure:the pressure level of the strainer is according to the highest pressure that may appear in the filter line.
The choice of the number of holes: mainly consider the particle size of impurities to be intercepted, which depends on the process requirements of the medium process. (check the filter specifications for the particle size that the net can intercept)
Material: kmo recommends that the body material is generally same as the material of the connected process pipeline or the performance is higher than the pipeline material.

Notes for Installation
The product can be installed horizontally or vertically. When it is installed, the medium flow direction must be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the casing.
In order to maintain conveniently, it is recommended to install and use this product together with cut-off valves. Both upstream and downstream of this product should be installed with cut-off valves. When the product needs to be repaired, the upstream and downstream valves can be closed to cut off its connection with the system.
It is best to install a differential pressure gauge upstream and downstream of the product. If there is a difference between the upstream and downstream pressure gauge readings, which means that there are many impurities on the filter element. At this time, the flowing resistance will become larger, the filter element need to be cleaned.
In order to keep the system working normally when repaired the strainer, kmo recommends that it is best to install a bypass line with the strainer. The shut-off valve is closing when the strainer is working well. But when it needs to maintenance, the shut-off valve should be opened.
Please keep a space for daily maintenance and repair when installed this product.

Note for Maintenance

kmo recommends that the internal filter should be removed to clean after using a long time, so as to prevent the filter from being blocked by impurities and affecting the normal use of the system. It is generally better to clean the filter every 3 months or so.
Please check whether the filter gasket is leaky or not after the filter element re-installed. It the gasket is leaky, please replace a new one.
After installing the item in the new system, the filter screen should be cleaned in time to prevent the construction waste remaining in the pipeline from installing the pipeline to block the product.
