Product Introduction | Product Introduction KKQG1B4F air strainer is an indispensable device in the pipeline system. It is usually installed at the inlet of the equipment to filter the particulate impurities in the medium, to protect the normal use of valves and other equipment. The filter screen can be made according to user’s requirements. The appearance is basically the same, which is made of stainless steel and durable. The mesh can be set according to user’s needs. Generally, 80-700 meshes is selected. The connection form includes flange type and screw type. kmo's products have the characteristics of advanced structure, small resistance, and convenient drainage. The product has small size, and good filtering effect, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost, and short sewage discharge time. For ordinary small models, installation takes only 5-10 minutes. Product Selection Principles Entry and exit path: in principle, the inlet and outlet diameter of the strainer should be same as the inlet pipe diameter. Nominal pressure:the pressure level of the strainer is according to the highest pressure that may appear in the filter line. The choice of the number of holes: mainly consider the particle size of impurities to be intercepted, which depends on the process requirements of the medium process. (check the filter specifications for the particle size that the net can intercept) Material: kmo recommends that the body material is generally same as the material of the connected process pipeline or the performance is higher than the pipeline material. Notes for Installation The product can be installed horizontally or vertically. During installation, the medium flow direction must be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the casing. In order to maintain conveniently, it is recommended to install and use this product together with cut-off valves. Both upstream and downstream of this product should be installed with cut-off valves. When the product needs to be repaired, the upstream and downstream valves can be closed, to cut off its connection with the system. It is best to install a differential pressure gauge upstream and downstream of the product. If there is a difference between the upstream and downstream pressure gauge readings, it means that there are many impurities on the filter element. When the fluid passes the strainer, the resistance will be more larger. It is the time to clean the filter element. In order to keep the system working normal when repairing the strainer, kmo recommends that it is best to install a bypass line when the strainer is installed. The shut-off valve is closed when the strainer is working well. But when it needs to maintenance, the shut-off valve should be opened. When installing this product, please pay attention to reserve a space for daily maintenance and repair. |
